One month of paired wear testing during sedentary work. Same person, consecutive days, comparable clothing and weather — Majella one day, cotton the next.
Result
Average daily reduction of 0.4 °C; highest single-day difference 1.3 °C. Spread between individuals and days is wide.
What it is not
A published clinical trial. We are preparing one with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, using thermal imaging, to test temperature reduction under controlled conditions. When it is published we will link it here whatever it says.
None of this is ours. It is the literature that explains why testicular temperature is worth measuring at all.

That wearing Majella changes anyone’s fertility. Nobody has shown that for any underwear, and we are not going to imply it. The temperature research above is other people’s work on temperature in general — not a study of this product. What we can stand behind is the measurement: cooler, and shielded.

Silver fibre shouldn’t go loose in the drum — it can catch. We include bags with every order of three pairs or more.

Warmer won’t destroy them, but it shortens their life. No fabric softener — it coats the fibre.

No tumble dryer. They dry faster than cotton anyway.
